“This will be the spot to drop by on your way home and get delicious bread, cheese, wine and takeout for the family, or hang out on a sunny Saturday afternoon with your friends. It’s a place where we would want to hang out with our friends.” said co-owner Jocelyne DeHaas, who with David Fritzler lives in Takoma Park with their two children.

“The Girl & The Vine is where you go for your everyday wine, or a unique bottle of something a bit more interesting,” said co-owner Rob Theriot. “You can grab a quick lunchtime sandwiches or decompress after work over a well-made cocktail.”

Located in the heart of Takoma Park, with more than a dozen parking spaces, The Girl & The Vine owners look forward to serving the local community.

”We have spent our careers learning to create spaces that serve our community and this feels like a dream come true,” said David Fritzler. “We love connecting with people, being creative, and eating and drinking the good stuff. It’s going to be a great place to hang out.”

Theriot, Fritzler, and DeHaas, who formed The Girl & The Vine parent company Kula Hospitality, have more than 60 years combined experience in food and beverage operations in Washington, D.C., Louisiana, and the Pacific Northwest. They were an early force behind the D.C. specialty coffee and craft cocktail scenes. Kula (meaning tribe) is setting out to improve the hospitality industry working environment with a holistic approach that promotes a better quality of life for employees and a culture of respect.

The market will debut with the full menu and market opening in mid-March, 2019.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
