“Dear PoPville,
I’d like to thank the incredibly kind lady who screeched to a halt as she was driving through the intersection of New Hampshire and Gallatin NW on Thursday evening (July 28) at 10:45pm to encourage me to get into her car as we both heard several loud pop sounds that we think were gunshots.
It took us both a moment to gather ourselves as we froze in the intersection, her driving through and me walking to my house. Moments later cops flooded the area and I am unsure of the circumstances or if they were indeed gunshots. However it didn’t sound like a firework and regardless, a kind soul ushered a stranger into her vehicle to get me home safely. Many thanks for being a wonderful person and a ray of light in this world.”
