Shake Shack opening Logan Circle Location Thursday!! (Navy Yard coming “later this Spring”)

“The Logan Circle Shack will be located at 1400 14th Street NW, smack dab in the heart of the District and steps from historic Logan Circle. The Logan Circle Shack will be a new spot for our DC friends to kick back and enjoy a ShackBurger® on its large outdoor patio, complete with picnic tables and greenery. Joining the DC, MD and VA Shacks, the Logan Circle Shack is set to open at 11AM on Thursday, March 16th.

Shake Shack is a critically acclaimed, modern day “roadside” burger stand known for its 100% all-natural, antibiotic-free Angus beef burgers, chicken (no hormones added ever), griddled flat-top dogs, fresh-made frozen custard, crispy crinkle cut fries, beer, wine and more. A fun and lively community gathering place with widespread appeal, Shake Shack has earned a cult-like following around the world.

Shake Shack is excited to grow the DMV-area Shack community, which began in 2011 with Dupont Circle. Our DMV Shack fam has since grown to include F Street, Union Station, Inner Harbor, Tysons Corner, Pentagon City, MGM National Harbor and Nationals Park.

The Logan Circle Shack will open with the Shack App, allowing guests to order Shake Shack when they want it and right from their iPhone. With the Shack App, guests can select their food, choose an available pickup time and it will be cooked-to-order and timed to their arrival.

In addition to the Shack classics, the Logan Circle Shack will be spinning up a selection of local frozen custard concretes: Logan Swirl (vanilla custard, salted caramel sauce, Pollystyle toffee shortbread and chocolate toffee), the all-time fan favorite Shack Attack (chocolate custard, fudge sauce, Baked & Wired brownie and Mast Brothers dark chocolate chunks, topped with chocolate sprinkles) and Pie Oh My (vanilla custard and slice of Livin’ The Pie Life seasonal pie).

In addition to our exclusive Brooklyn Brewery ShackMeister® Ale, guests can pair their meals with local brews from Atlas Brew Works, 3 Stars Brewing Company and Right Proper Brewing. Wine lovers can enjoy a glass of Shack RedTM and Shack WhiteTM wine from Napa-based Frog’s Leap Winery.

As part of Shake Shack’s mission to Stand For Something Good®, 5% of sales from the Pie Oh My concrete support Casey Trees, a nonprofit devoted to restoring, enhancing and protecting the tree canopy of DC. Casey Trees, a longtime partner of Shake Shack, also partners with the DC and Virginia Shacks. Teams from the Dupont Circle, Union Station, F Street, Pentagon City, Tysons Corner and Logan Circle Shacks volunteer and fundraise for the organization throughout the year.

In keeping with Shack Shack’s commitment to green architecture and eco-friendly construction, the Logan Circle Shack’s tabletops are made by CounterEvolution using reclaimed bowling alley lanes; chairs are designed by Uhuru using sustainable materials; and booths are crafted by Staach using lumber certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. The Shack also features a wood ceiling installation inspired by the DC city grid.
