This one hurts. Lawrence’s II Petworth Carryout was located at the corner of Georgia and Shepherd St, NW. One of the few spots left that were good and cheap. Perhaps it was inevitable but it still hurts. Cause in addition to the good grub were the kindest faces. Petworthian captures it best “Gonna miss the ladies”:
