Help me find Jessica, Elizabeth and Blair. They saved my life on November 12th.
“Pedestrian Struck in Crosswalk at Observatory Circle and Mass Ave on 11/12/15
My name is Jessica, 28yo female. I was hit by a vehicle the evening of Thursday, Nov 12 on Observatory Circle and Mass Ave NW in the crosswalk around 6 p.m. I was walking northbound on Mass Ave when a male driver in a red Toyota Corolla was making a left turn from Mass Ave NW, to turn west onto Observatory Circle. I was rushed to the GWU Trauma Center.
Unfortunately, none of the witnesses who helped to save my life that night was listed on the police report. I remember two women named Jessica (a social worker with long blonde hair) and Elizabeth (wore glasses, had curly dark blonde hair), and a bicyclist named Blair (Virginian with dark hair), who were kind enough to track down my family and stay with me until the medics came onsite.
I am reaching out and asking anyone with information about this accident or know of these three individuals to kindly contact me. I would be greatly appreciative, thank you so much.”

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!
The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!
What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
