Yesterday we shared some sad closing news posts so I’ve been looking forward to sharing this awesome news with everyone. Get ready for MAJOR YUM hoping to open late Fall!! And more specifically get ready for “Chung’s Chicken”!
Major Yum is coming from Chef Scott Chung of Bun’d Up, Sparrow Room, and Rice Crook. He has stepped away from those projects and will be working 100% on Major Yum.
Here’s a bit more about what to expect from Major Yum:
“Major Yum is a fast casual restaurant that will be blending your flavors from some of your favorite dishes. We’ll be fast but doesn’t mean we’ll be shorting you on quality. Everything will be made to order.
Menu Offerings – “Chung’s Chicken” a mix of general tso’s and korean fried chicken. Inspired by the banchan spreads at Korean restaurants we’ll be offering yummy pickled veggies with each dish.
Beverages – specialty Asian drink, beers, and wines.”
Ed. Note: I asked about some veg options and was told to fear not as there will be a few options including “a nice crispy tofu.”
