“There is a new woman-owned organic corner market on 4th and Kennedy Streets NW – IYMA Daily Essentials.
Those in the neighborhood have eagerly waited for a proper corner store to reopen and we hope this is the ticket!
Would love to show these women some love and support.
– Hours are Monday – Saturday, 7AM-9PM, Sunday 8AM-7PM
-The two women who opened it are local; they’re former post partum doulas and nannies
– A neighbor commented that it looks very similar to DGS (District Grocery Store) that was in that location when she moved into the neighborhood in 1966.”
