I’ve noticed a sign on the vacant space next to Wanda’s on 7th for the past couple of weeks (months maybe?) that says “Urban Mart Coming Soon.” Does anyone have any idea what’s moving in here? Or is this
false advertising from the landowner to dissuade potential break-ins? I think a small bodega would be great here! I miss Duke’s Grocery and Union Kitchen when they were in the Shay Apartment building’s commercial spaces on 8th St just south of Florida Ave (separately the old BKK would also be a great Union Kitchen/bodega… just sayin’).”
