“Dear PoPville,
Someone dropped a copy of Larry Csonka’s memoir in our Little Free Library last week. For those not well versed in 1970s NFL he’s a very important football person who played for Miami.
We have a Dolphins fan in our extended family, so we grabbed it to take a look, and it turns out it was signed by the author! But we can’t quite tell who it’s addressed to.
Then we found a card tucked inside the pages with a picture of (what we now know to be) the Florida state capitol….weird, but ok. Opened the card, and it was a birthday note from 2023 to then-Senator Marco Rubio. And now clearly see the inscription in the book says “To Marco Rubio.”

We’ve tried but with no luck to find the “J.R. Terrie & Joseph” who gifted this book to Marco. PoPville – help us solve this mystery. Who are J.R Terrie & Joseph? Why did this book end up in a LFL closer to DC Costco than the Capitol?
