Super sad news out of Brookland:
“To Our Valued Guests and Community,
After 10 and a half incredible years, I have made the difficult decision to permanently close Brookland Pint. Our final day of service will be Saturday, May 24.
Serving the Brookland and Catholic University communities has been an extraordinary privilege. Your support, loyalty, and enthusiasm helped make Brookland Pint a place where neighbors gathered, students celebrated milestones, and countless memories were made.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to our amazing staff both past and present whose talent, dedication, and heart brought this restaurant to life every single day. Their hard work is what made Brookland Pint more than just a place to eat and drink.
I’d also like to thank our landlord for their efforts to help us endure the many challenges of the pandemic and its aftermath. Their flexibility and commitment played a meaningful role in helping us stay open as long as we did.
Ultimately, the rising costs of food, the impact of Initiative 82, and the current economic climate in the city made it impossible for us to continue.
While there is sadness in saying goodbye, there is also immense pride in what we accomplished together. Thank you for being part of the Brookland Pint story.
