So much for March 6th. [We first reported the coming closure on February 18th.]
Thanks to all who passed on the sad news yesterday:
“When I heard it was closing, I purchased tickets to the theater’s final film (a 7 p.m. showing of Mickey 17 on Thursday, March 6th). But I just received a full refund for the tickets, and now the website doesn’t feature any showtimes past today. Have you heard anything about them closing even earlier than their original final date? It’s a real disappointment — a group of friends and I were hoping to say goodbye.”
“It’s actually heartbreaking that all the people like myself, who after reading this news, bought tickets for showings this week as a way to say thank you & goodbye to a cherished space in our community only to have this surprise come to our inboxes this evening.”
