This morning, I woke up to the side mirror of my car bashed in. I’m on the 1400 block of Harvard St NW in Columbia Heights. At first I thought it was a side-swipe, but we found at least 10 other cars on neighboring blocks with broken mirrors.
Mine was completely smashed, but others just had the back sides of the mirrors stolen. My boyfriend’s dad said there is some resale value for this piece, so just a PSA for the city; although there’s not much one can do to protect against this.”
