Thanks to A. for sharing last night:
“Many of the dog owners in the Kalorama Triangle/Adams Morgan are in a group WhatsApp and today we received a message from one of the neighbors re- another dog being electrocuted/receiving chest compressions on the corner of Belmont Rd NW and Columbia Rd NW near Streets Market. This is a highly trafficked area for dogs as it is near multiple parks and the broader dog-owning community is highly alarmed.”
Yesterday NBC Washington reported on two other incidents downtown:
“‘Is it safe?’ DC dog owners concerned about pets being electrocuted
D.C. dog owners are taking extra precautions after an extremely unusual situation earlier this month when two dogs were fatally electrocuted four hours apart on a downtown street.”
