UNIQLO opened with great fanfare here in Union Station back in 2017. Thanks to all who messaged us about the abrupt closure:

This leaves a gaping whole in Union Station’s retail and in many a heart. When UNIQLO first annouced they were coming to Union Station it was seen as a sign, by many, of a retail resurgence and Union Station after the rough gut punches of Barnes and Noble closing back in 2013 and Fye Music and Movies closing back in 2016.
Hopefully Mr. Barry and Rexmark have something good up their sleeves.
Update: There are rumors that UNIQLO is moving to the old H&M space in Union Station. The major catch to this rumor is that UNIQLO’s website says: “(UNIQLO Union Station’s last day of business is 10/11/24)” The farewell note on the door also says this. If they were moving, wouldn’t they say they were moving? Or they want some suspense? Either way stay tuned. And still bring back the Barnes and Noble somewhere. And yes there was once a movie theatre in Union Station too…
STAY TUNED.
