I was running on the MBT on Sunday evening – it was broad daylight and the trail was busy – and I witnessed a man on a bicycle assault a solo female jogger. It was terrible. I stayed with her for a bit but didn’t get her contact info. I can’t stop thinking about her and hope she’s doing ok. If she is interested in connecting I’d love to talk to her.

As an aside – I flagged down a police officer in the vicinity the following day to discuss the incident. He said they’ve been having “a lot of issues”. I wish there was some sort of public warning about females being assaulted in broad daylight on this trail … and that the police officers were more active (walking or on bicycle instead of sitting in parked vehicles yards away from women being assaulted). A girl can dream.
