At my wits end here so hopefully someone can help. From NE area and our neighbors and I are having a problem with someone parking their fed government car on our street then hoping back in their personal vehicle (with out of states tags) and leaving. The person does not live in the neighborhood, and the vehicle is left for weeks sometime months in the same spot with no movement.
Neighbors have called 311 multiple times to no avail. Even our elderly disabled neighbor has called as the vehicle is blocking access to her front door for over 3 months. DPW states it’s nothing they can do as the vehicle is not damaged.
I’ve also called 311. The lady was super nice and stated that although they see multiple requests in for the vehicle and license plate #. Their hands are tied since it’s a fed government vehicle.
What’s interesting is when he does return weeks/ months later. The car is gone few a hours. His out of state vehicle is parked. He returns and parks the government vehicle back in a different parking spot (but same neighborhood street) and leaves again for weeks sometimes months.
Any help is greatly appreciated.”
