Sunday night after the pride festival, I was waiting for the bus in front of the old Woodies building on 11 and G. I started hearing commotion and flashing lights around the corner and saw what appeared to be paparazzi taking photos of a celebrity leaving the former entrance to forever 21.
I asked the police officer monitoring what is it about and they shrugged their shoulders. It then dawned on me since that storefront is vacant, that this is a possible tv show or movie filming, because the same “take” happened over and over. I’m guessing they are using the building to mimic a hotel and it’s a scene where whomever the character is, is leaving the building, then on to a coach bus. Do you or your readers have any intel on my story or info with permits of this, if true?”
Lindsay also asked us on Sunday: “Filming in the old Woodies in Metro Center – asked in a store across the street what it was and they said they thought a yet to be titled Steven Spielberg movie out in ’26 – any other intel?”
