I’m all for raising the bag fee across the board (and pro-bottle bill to reduce plastics and up recycling), but Maman is charging a quarter for bags and last I checked it was still just a nickel. Maybe DOEE can pay them a visit or happily collect the full quarter as advertised.
I can accept an overpriced scone or two, but I cannot abide blatant fee gouging that undermines the very legitimate reason for the bag fee. DOEE should retroactively collect that full $0.25!”
