Interestingly, there were rangers ticketing people who parked on grass, but they didn’t seem to be bothered by the cars parked in the bike/pedestrian lanes. I asked one of them about it and they replied that the cars parking on the grass were the priority for safety. Message received, I guess?
Wouldn’t be like NPS miss an opportunity to show how singularly ill equiped they are to manage DC’s urban spaces.”
