I was walking in Meridian Hill/Malcolm X Park last Monday (3/18) and I noticed this line of trash and sticks on the upper level towards the Joan of Arc statue on the 15th St. side. I was also at the park that weekend and didn’t see it then, but I think I have seen something similar there in the past. Does anyone know what it is?”
We have previously been told:
“They are line placeholders for the queue for food banks that hand out weekly meals the next day. About two or three food banks / charities use Meridian / Malcolm X as distribution spot throughout the week”
