I want to say thank you to the woman who walked with me in Farragut North to her office while an unhoused guy started to trail me on Wednesday night.

I was definitely in shock and wasn’t sure what to do but your gesture and kindness was a lifeline. Thank you for demonstrating what it means when women support women.

For context, I hopped off the L2 ~7:45pm to head to Farragut North and noticed an unhoused man following me, but then he started to mimic each of my movements. I was in the middle of the road, unsure what to do, and a woman behind me immediately made eye contact with me and gestured me over.
