From WMATA:

“This weekend: Metro service adjustments on the Red, Blue, Orange, and Silver lines

Metro is reminding customers to plan ahead for scheduled track and infrastructure work that will affect rail service on multiple lines this weekend.

On the Red Line, free shuttle buses will replace trains between Noma-Gallaudet and Brookland stations while crews install radio and fiber-optic cables. There will be no rail service available at Rhode Island Ave Station. Trains will run every six minutes (daytime) and 10 minutes (evening) between Shady Grove and Noma-Gallaudet; and every 15 minutes all day between Brookland and Glenmont. Customers traveling toward downtown DC from Red Line stations between Glenmont and Brookland are encouraged to transfer to the Green Line at Ft. Totten.

Grout pad renewal and drain maintenance will affect service on the Blue, Orange, and Silver lines. Silver Line trains will operate between Ashburn and Smithsonian only, with trains running every 18 minutes.

On the Blue and Orange lines, trains will single track between Smithsonian and Federal Center SW, with trains running every 18 minutes. Northern Virginia customers going towards downtown DC are encouraged to use the Yellow line for faster service.

The Green and Yellow lines will have extra service this weekend to accommodate customers transferring from lines affected by track work. Green and Yellow line trains will operate every six minutes from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., an improvement of two minutes from normal weekend service.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
