At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I have had five Amazon packages stolen in 4 days in Capitol Hill. I am livid. I know this is a citywide issue, but it feels like Capitol Hill has been getting the brunt of it for months. The most recent package was delivered at 10 PM and was gone by 6 AM. I was asleep, so I did not retrieve the package when it was delivered.
We know that having the perpetrators on camera does absolutely nothing. I live in the basement of a real house, but my packages are always delivered to the upstairs unit, and therefore stolen very frequently. While Amazon does always refund me or replace the items it does not work. Use the extreme frustration. The crime in this city is mind blowing, and only getting worse by the day. I suppose I could’ve put this in the rant/revel section but here I am.
Any tips for renters aside from cameras/amazon pick locations?”
