From the National Park Service:
“TRAFFIC ALERT: Wednesday, Sept 27, the National Park Service will close 17th St between Constitution Ave & Independence Ave on the National Mall from 5:00am until approximately 4:00pm to perform the annual test installation of the 17th Street levee.”
