As I have many times before, I parked in a legal street spot on 21st and R streets NW. The space is designed to protrude slightly into the pedestrian crosswalk. However, this was the first time I’d gotten a ticket here.
I was notified via email, and found no ticket on my vehicle, however the next time I saw the vehicle after the ticket was issued, one of my wiper blades was up – leading me to believe the meter maid realized their mistake after issuing and retreated, but I am still stuck with the $50 citation (which I will be protesting).”
