It’s Just About Taco Time at Los Cinco Tacos

From a press release:

“The team behind Capo Italian Deli (715 Florida Ave NW) is bringing D.C. authentic Mexican street tacos via their new late night eatery, Los Cinco Tacos (711 Florida Ave NW). The program is spearheaded by Jose Candelero, who has been our Director of Kitchen Operations for six years. Originally from Veracruz, Mexico, Los Cinco Tacos is Jose’s ode to the tacos of his youth, with recipes passed down from his grandmother.

The menu consists of four permanent tacos, with a rotating “Especial de la Semana,” (taco of the week). The tacos are available on site ($4) where patrons can either take them to go or dine at the counter, or for delivery via Uber Eats ($5). The menu also includes chips and house-made guacamole ($4.25) as well as a variety of Mexican soft drinks. Los Cinco Tacos is open Thursday – Sunday.

Operating hours:

Thursday: 3 PM – 10 PM
Friday: 1 PM – 3 AM
Saturday: 1 PM – 3 AM
Sunday: 1 PM – 10 PM

Takeout orders can be placed directly with the restaurant on their website loscincotacos.com.

We’re about a month out from summer. That means you’ve still got time for spring cleaning!

Lexi Grant, an operations manager at Well-Paid Maids, shared her go-to spring cleaning tips with WTOP News. Step one? Declutter. Get rid of items you don’t use, find space for items that need a home and organize those areas.

Then, it’s time to dust. Lexi starts with high-touch surface areas (think: refrigerator, dishwasher, counters, microwave). One area she sees often neglected is the bedroom — and it makes sense. Heavy furniture is difficult to move around, but it’s important to really get in there so dust doesn’t affect your sleep.
