Bozzelli’s Pizza “Suffers Anti-Female/Anti-Gay Soccer Hate During WWC” while promoting “Girls Soccer” pizza special

Ed. Note: I’m not posting the hateful messages but I have seen them and con confirm. I’m also told they received threatening phone calls and voicemails. Just ridiculous. Please check out Bozzeli’s good looking menus here and find their locations here.

In response to the hate Bozzelli’s writes:

“Co-Owner Mike Bozzelli who runs his family’s pizza chain, Bozzelli’s, with his mother and sister explains,

“We named one of our best selling pizzas “Girls Soccer” to celebrate the women who are making history within the American soccer community. As you know American soccer culture is not as robust as in other parts of the world and we wanted to give female soccer players some encouragement as they strive to elevate soccer that has been long overshadowed by football and baseball in America. The ramifications on diversity, equality and empowerment are monumental.”

Finding a gift for moms can be difficult. Google “Mother’s Day gifts,” and you’ll scroll through endless lists of beauty products, candles and fuzzy robes. Sure, those are sweet, but sometimes it’s fun to surprise loved ones with something a little more, well, practical!

Here’s one idea: Give her a gift certificate for a home cleaning from Well-Paid Maids. It’s the perfect “thank you,” “I love you” or “you’ve got this” for any mom. She can schedule the home cleaning at her convenience and breathe easy knowing she has one less thing to do.

Our cleaners will take care of everything, including vacuuming and mopping as well as cleaning and dusting countertops, tables, mirrors, appliances and more. Sinks, toilets, showers and appliance exteriors also get a good scrub.
