Scooting home from dinner in Mt. Pleasant (Sunday) when two kids tried to rob us of our scooters, with a knife.
The kids were riding beside us, waving the knife at us. We rode down (I think) Oakwood Terrace, which dead ended. I took my phone out as the kid with the knife approached us. I took a bunch of photos and yelled that I was taking photos and calling the police. The kid driving the scooter left pretty quickly after that. The kid with the knife eventually also left, and we left with/on our scooters.
I did send MPD an email with all my photos, a description, and my phone number.”
