“Marblework contractor recommendations?”

“Dear PoPville,

I have a bit of an odd request I’m hoping someone might be able to help with. During a move last year, my late grandmother’s marbletop coffee table was broken. I’m hoping to have the marble pieces carved into coasters that I can give to all of my Nonny’s children and grandchildren.

I’ve tried everything I can think of

— TaskRabbit, Craigslist, asking stores in town if they know of anyone — to find someone willing to do this type of odd job marblework, with no luck. If anyone in the Popville community has a recommendation for a handyman or contractor in the DMV who can craft coasters out of some marble slabs, I’d really appreciate it.”
