It’s been almost a year since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and while comedy may not be the first thing you think of when you think of the war, why not help out by laughing your butt off at a humanitarian stand up show in DC!
Last year, we (David Morar, originally from Romania and Ivi Demi, originally from Albania) put on two humanitarian comedy shows and raised over $5,000 that went to buying supplies for the Ukrainian army, through our partners at D Light Cafe & Bakery (an amazing Ukrainian-owned AdMo business) and featured 16 brilliant immigrant or first-generation comedians. PoPville even wrote about it!
On 2/23, we’re doing it again, this time benefiting the ProEnglish Theater in Kyiv. We have 9 new hilarious immigrant or first generation DC comedians, all proceeds going to Ukrainian artists and comedians, plus some special surprises!
