“Dear PoPville,
I’m 9 months pregnant, and my water broke today on the metro. In shock, all I could do was find someone to look at and say “my water just broke!” I didn’t need anything at the moment except for someone to know what was happening, so thank you to that man for 1)
not freaking out and 2) keeping an eye on me until I got off the train.
And I’m sorry to all the people on that train who didn’t realize what was happening and were then left with a random puddle.
We will be telling our son about his dramatic and embarrassing entrance for the next 18+ years!”
