“Dear PoPville,
I’ve had problems with faulty propane tanks recently (two in a row, one clogged and one leaky) and I’m curious about adding an outdoor connection to my home’s natural gas.
I did a quick search and didn’t see any posts about this process, aside from one from 2013 on proximity to structures.
I’m wondering if any readers have had this work done, what the process is, and what kind of costs I’m looking at? The outdoor connection box I’m envisioning would be on the other side of my foundation wall from gas appliances so it wouldn’t be a terribly difficult job.”
