This morning on 16th, the “new” reversible lane signs were again showing an incorrect lane for a random block in Mt. Pleasant.
Essentially it signaled to northbound drivers — dangerously so — that the center lane was available for use. I took a pic of the southbound sign but couldn’t of the northbound one, although it clearly showed the center lane as operational.
This isn’t the first time I’ve raised this issue with DDOT. Someone is going to get seriously injured or killed. Kinda hard to enforce “VisionZero” when the city itself can’t even fix these ridiculous malfunctions.”
