“Dear PoPville,
So today (Sunday) I was at the Cracked Eggery with my two grandchildren. After I ordered lunch for them, I checked my purse, my pockets, started ransacking my bag, but could not find my credit card. And they would not take cash. I went through my stuff probably three times, when one of the staff said someone had paid for us. He pointed to the woman, who was incredibly lovely,
refused to let me pay her back, hugged me (I was going a little nuts by then,) and wished me well.
I would like her to know how very much I appreciated her generosity. And that eventually I did find my card, which I used to make a $100 donation to the Capitol Area Food Bank in her [name unknown] honor. Thank you, again.”
