I wish to report a disturbing incident at the Georgia Ave-Petworth Metro Station. At approximately 8:05 a.m. today, an individual deliberately struck me with his large hiking backpack as I was standing on the platform, and proceeded to strike others on the platform before
rushing into one of the train cars (Yellow Line to Huntington). The individual was silent the entire time, but visibly angry. I have filed a report with the Metro police. If others encountered this individual, I encourage you to do the same. The number is 202-962-2121.”
