“Dear PoPville,
I just wanted to give you (and DC!) a heads up that this guy is still at it. I ran into him with a car full of people (the whole back row was filled and had at least one minor in it) at 14th and F Streets NW
right next to the Corner Bakery / National Press Building entrance on 14th at about 1pm today. Same approach and scam. Tried to hand me a ring and when I said I didn’t have any cash they drove off immediately.
Car was a red SUV (possibly a Ford) with Florida plates. You can’t miss it.
