The Little Grand (from folks behind All Souls Bar in Shaw) had some quiet soft openings and will have its Grand Opening on Thursday (July 7) just off H Street

808 7th Street, NE

Thanks to H_Streeting_NE for sending word on Friday: “Looks like H St’s newest pizza place may have opened a week earlier than expected… welcome”

The Little Grand’s website says: “After a couple of Friends & Family mock services and quietly opening for a few nights, we will be closed for a long fourth of July holiday and will kick off regular operation starting Thursday, July 7th.

Our hours will be:

Sun-Mon and Thu: 5pm-midnight (kitchen closes 9pm)
Fri-Sat: 5pm-midnight (kitchen closes 10pm)
Tue-Wed: closed”

Check out their menu here.

“The Little Grand is a cozy alley bar off the H Street NE Corridor. We have round and square pizzas, sides and salads, classic cocktails, and an eclectic wine list.”

“We are the people behind All Souls Bar with the same goal of keeping things simple, good, and approachable, but with pizza! Our friend Bobby Hellen helped us hone our New York-ish style round and Sicilian-ish square pies that keep company with veggie-forward small plates, classic cocktails, and an eclectic wine list.

Our goal is great food and drinks, kind people, and a good time.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.
