“UPDATE: From June 1-15, construction on upgrades to the bike & pedestrian path between the Kennedy Center & the National Mall will force a closure of the trail along the Potomac. Detours will be clearly marked at Virginia Avenue & Parkway Drive.”
More from the National Park Service:
“The National Park Service is making improvements to roads, multi-use trails and crosswalks around the National Mall. The work will improve accessibility and safety and help the NPS implement our paved trails plan by making new connections and enhancing existing pedestrian and bicycle travel routes.”
