“The car that was t-boned jumped on the sidewalk very near where I was walking with my friend, both of us with babies in strollers.”

“Dear PoPville,

A car crash occurred on Wednesday, May 25 at 5.05 pm at the intersection of Farragut and Arkansas NW. A car was t-boned making a left onto Farragut NW, towards John Lewis Elementary School.

The car that was t-boned jumped on the sidewalk very near where I was walking with my friend, both of us with babies in strollers. My friend lunged backward and I jumped up on the lawn yanking my baby and the stroller. We fell backwards and I tried to cover him as much as I could. It was very scary. And, it appears all are well, at least physically.

My missed connection is a kind woman in a tan athletic/sweat outfit with dark hair pulled back that ignored all of the chaos and walked to me and said “That must have been very scary. I’m so sorry that happened to you.”

It was exactly what I needed to hear to collect myself to continue the walk to JLES to get my daughter.

If you are the kind woman, please email me at [email protected] and I’ll put you in touch with OP.
