“Dear PoPville,
I wanted to reach out, as it’s baby squirrel season and we just found one that had fallen out of a tree (such a windy day!).
I called DC City Wildlife and they let me know that typically you should leave baby squirrels where they are found, as their mothers will usually come pick them up,
but you can also call DC City Wildlife at (202) 882-1000 between 9 – 5 for questions/help.
For issues outside of their regular hours, you need to call Animal Control, which can be reached at 202-723-5730.”
Friends of the White Whale Society is brought to you by the team behind Last Christmas Tree in Town. You can email your sightings to [email protected]
