“dLeña Launches Weekday Lunch Service and Chef’s Table Experience”

“dLeña by Chef Richard Sandoval is excited to announce the launch of weekday lunch service as well as a new luxury chef’s table experience. Mount Vernon Triangle residents and visitors will revel in new dining opportunities at the modern Mexican concept this spring with weekday lunch service starting on Monday, April 11, and a Thursday through Saturday chef’s table launching on Thursday, April 28.

Monday through Friday, from 11am to 3pm, guests are invited to enjoy lunch dishes like the grilled caesar salad with romaine lettuce, croutons, pickled veggies, spicy pepitas, and cotija cheese, an assortment of birria barbacoa, camarón, and hongos a la leña tacos, and medio pollo al carbón, the grilled house chicken, marinated with guajillo-achiote, criolla sauce, and grilled broccolini. Other offerings include the dLeña burger with 7oz prime ground burger, bacon jam, chimichurri, and chipotle aioli on a pretzel bun with arugula and fries, Maryland crab sliders with brioche bun, ají amarillo tartar, bibb lettuce, Old Bay fries, and zarandeado mayo, and skirt steak a la piedra with fajita peppers, molcajete sauce, crema fresca, guacamole, and tortillas. Pair these dishes with zero-proof refreshing beverages like the sandia agua fresca, horchata, and jugo verde.

Starting Thursday, April 28, guests can partake in a luxury chef’s table experience Thursday through Saturday nights. With two seatings per night at 5pm/5:30pm and 8:30pm, chef’s table diners will enjoy an eight-course menu for $125 per person with an option for a coursed beverage pairings for $75. Enjoy off-menu items and other surprises and delights. dLeña’s chef’s table is located behind the main bar with an exquisite leather banquette facing directly into the open kitchen. dLeña and dLeña ROJA are located at 476 K Street NW, Suite D, Washington, DC 20001. Lunch hours are 11am to 3pm Monday through Friday. Dinner hours are 5pm to 10pm Sunday through Thursday, and 5pm to 11pm Friday and Saturday. Brunch is offered at dLeña from 10am to 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays, with the last seating at 2pm.
