“Can we talk about what’s happening on Kennedy Street?”

“Dear PoPville,

Can we talk about the massive overhaul underway on Kennedy Street NW?

Between 3rd and 13th, I made a rough count of 17 buildings under some degree of construction. Some turning into bigger pop ups. Some into large buildings. Some maybe with retail.

What are people’s thoughts overall?

What have the mayor and council said about how this is unfolding?

What do people know about what is planned in terms of restaurants and retail?

What’s most important for people to know or consider about the impact?

There are main streets across the city that have undergone big adjustments in recent decades. But I don’t recall seeing quite so much upended at once on such a large scale.

Hoping to get a sense of the community’s opinions.”

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
