After 18 Years Tabletop closed in Dupont (still open in Takoma Park) “shop small, shop local.”

Thanks to Jenna for passing on the sad news. Here’s Tabletop’s parting note:

1608 20th Street, NW

“Dear lovely Tabletop Customers,

We are saddened to have to announce that we will be closing the doors on our Dupont Circle location permanently on January 2, 2022

We are closing due to the challenges facing many small businesses during this pandemic.
During our 18+ years, we have had the pleasure of being part of this wonderful community and getting to know our customers as they went through phases of their lives – weddings, holidays, new homes, moving homes. We have made many friends, watched kids grow up, and helped pick graduation presents. It has been an honor to be part of your lives and thank you for your support and business.

We want to extend a special thank you to the amazing reps and noteworthy employees; who have over the years helped us bring smiles to so many others, we thank you hand on hearts.
We will continue to serve our customers via our Takoma Park location. [6927 Laurel Ave]

Shop small, Shop local.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
