bartaco now open!

1025 5th Street, NW at K courtesy bartaco

From a press release:

bartaco is officially open in the Mount Vernon neighborhood of Washington D.C. for dine-in during the evening for its first week. Hours will vary the first week of opening — bartaco will be open for dinner to start and plans to introduce lunch in addition to dinner the following week — open 11am to late, seven days a week. The restaurant will also be available for delivery a few weeks after opening.

On the menu are a variety of hand-held foods that pair perfectly with bartaco’s crafted cocktails made with fresh-squeezed juices, as well as beer out of a bottle or can and a selection of wine by the can or by the glass. Highlights include bartaco’s pork belly and cauliflower tacos, duck birria, guacamole + street corn sides as well as to-go offerings such as bartaco’s taco packs, delicious margarita kits + a selection of cocktails to-go for two. The restaurant also has a kid friendly menu and dining, a large variety of gluten-free options and spirit-free beverages such as aguas frescas.

bartaco’s rustic design and bold + bright flavors of its menu complement the Mount Vernon neighborhood. Its stylish ambience combined with freshly prepared cocktails, tacos + “not tacos” will create an unforgettable experience for guests. The location also features a large outdoor patio with a fireplace formed with bricks salvaged from a local D.C. building.

To dine in, guests can use the bartaco app or call (202) 888-8226 to join the waitlist. Guests can also place an order via www.order.bartaco.com or via the bartaco app.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
