Dolce Vita opens today in Logan Circle

1610 14th Street, NW

Good news about Dolce Vita opening in the former Ghibellina space on 14th, from an email:

“it’s the Lahlou Restaurant Group team (Lupo Verde, Lupo Pizzeria etc). Guests can expect an elevated fusion menu of four countries across the Mediterranean coast: Morocco, Italy, Spain, and Greece.”

Hours are currently Sunday through Thursday 5pm to 11pm; Saturday and Friday 5pm to midnight.

“Dolce Vita at its core is an ode to owner Med Lahlou’s cultural heritage from the Mediterranean coast highlighting four countries: Italy, Morocco, Spain, and Greece. The fusion menu is Lahlou’s most ambitious concept yet, with dishes transporting guests to the coast through both the European restaurant decor and signature menu from Corporate Executive Chef Juan Olivera and Executive Chef Elier Rodriguez.

Menu highlights include the “Piraeus Market Pick,’ a seafood platter inspired by the namesake coast in Athens that’s served atop a wave-like eggwhite & salt base and

the “Lamb Shank” which is enveloped in a smoke glass covering. The restaurant also features an expansive wine list, as well as a signature cocktail list with highlights like the “Moroccan Spritzer” with Tanqueray, Massaya Arak, Mandarin, Mint Syrup, Prosecco, and Club Soda and the “Pick Me Up” which includes Vanilla Bean infused Grand Marnier, Mr. Black Cold Brew, Coffee Liqueur, Espresso, and an Orange Peel.

Designed by Lahlou himself, the grandiose entry level interior of the restaurant compliments the detailed menu with hand-painted murals on the walls, electric blue velvet chairs, and an open kitchen where guests can watch Chef Olivera and Chef Rodriguez at work. Upstairs guests can find the chef’s table adjacent to the wine cellar amidst a more intimate and sultry dining room.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
