This is probably a stupid question, but I’ve been in DC for 2.5 years and always managed to find parking around my Adams Morgan apartment (up to 1/4 mile away, though I would have to circle around for up to 20 minutes). However in the last month or two, I haven’t been this lucky a few times. Especially lately, there’s been construction equipment taking up parking spaces.
I was wondering – what do other people do in this situation? Park in a no park zone and cross their fingers? (What I’ve done about three times since September.) Or is there another option that I’m not thinking of? (Besides driving a 1/2-1 mile away from my apartment…)”
