Wanted to send a PSA about DC public COVID testing sites – while the results often take several days to be emailed to you by DC Health, my friends and I with LabCorp patient portals have found that the results often come just hours after taking the test.
DC Health advises you to sign up for this with other free services like STD testing, but I hadn’t heard anyone talking about it for the free firehouse sites. Not sure if every site uses LabCorp or if you’ll always get quick results through here; just anecdotal evidence from around 3 of us. You can sign up for a LabCorp patient portal without a lab order here.”
