Can the hive mind confirm that this is absolutely shenanigans? On 19th and T there is a renovation where there is a dumpster and (at least) two parking spaces coned off, apparently 24 hours a day for 6 months. Whatever – if you’ve got the permits, do your thing, but I think that actually they don’t have the permits.
The permit that they have blocking the two extra spaces for trucks reads that it’s for a ‘roll off debris container’ which I would understand to actually be the dumpster. Right? Relatedly, is there a less aggressive way to deal with this than throwing their stupid cones in the dumpster and parking there? Parking isn’t exactly abundant here and the bad faith effort to scheme more spots has offended my inner Karen’s sense of justice.”
