“Dear PoPville,
For those still looking for the vaccine and ready to drive
A PSA for those in DC (like me) not lucky enough to make the cut for a DC or MD appointment this week – FEMA is running mass vaccination sites in Easton, Maryland. Easton is about an hour and 15 minute drive from DC, and there are hundreds of appointments available. The site is administering J&J, so you only have to make the trip once.
Ed. Note: We’ve previously spoken about folks going to Salisbury, Maryland here.
Go here and click, counterintuitively, Find Other Vaccination Clinics. Once you select Vaccination and Adult, the FEMA site in the parking lot of an Elks Lodge will appear, and you can select an appointment. The site is accepting all adults. There are questions like which County with only Maryland counties, but it includes a “A Non-Maryland County” selection.
I stumbled on this option this weekend and got the shot on Saturday in a different Easton parking lot. The outdoor site was organized, friendly, and efficient.”

I was there today with an appt I made yesterday. Empty. 20 minutes in and out. Walk ins welcome. There are still appointments available. Super easy.

I went to the M&T Bank Stadium mass vax site in Baltimore this morning. It was very efficient and organized. Here's the number to schedule: 410-779-9507.
