From a press release:

“It’s a busy Tuesday at the local Duke’s Grocery gastropubs in the District, celebrating the launch of the pop-up Pho Joint and the unveiling of the Toddy Bar’s fall cocktails.

Pho Joint Menu – Pop Up @ Duke’s Grocery Foggy Bottom

The Pho Joint, housed at the Duke’s location in Foggy Bottom, offers five kinds of the beloved Vietnamese soup for dine in, takeout and delivery via UberEats, GrubHub and Doordash. This new venture is borne from a deep appreciation of the classic Vietnamese soup, and a desire to provide more hearty, healthy and delicious options overall.

“The Duke’s family all enjoys pho regularly, so a few weeks ago we took a stab at it ourselves using a family recipe. The staff didn’t look up until their bowls were empty so the lightbulb went off,” said Daniel Kramer, Managing Partner. Guests can now order their pho with brisket, eye round, meatballs or chicken.

Toddy Bar Menu @ Duke’s Grocery

As colder weather approaches, Duke’s is also embracing a new series of hot toddies, plus a contemporary riff on Irish Coffee and a spin on a coffee chain classic. Drinks from the Toddy Bar are now available at both the Dupont Circle and Foggy Bottom locations. An early favorite is the B.P.S.L., a bourbon-spiked version of a pumpkin spice latte made with organic pumpkin puree, espresso, bourbon and spices covered with a thick layer of cream. The Apple Farm features local apple cider, organic baked apple cinnamon tea, whiskey, cloves and nutmeg powder, while the Sailor Toddy is a potent blend of Gosling’s Dark Rum, Earl Grey Tea and a dash of orange bitters. The organic chai, star anise, cloves and fresh lemon juice combine for a refreshing spice profile in the Chai Toddy, while the Dublin Coffee combines Compass Coffee’s Waypoint Blend with Jameson Cold Brew whiskey and velvety cream.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
